Face veins and spider veins are treated at Blue Star Dermatology & Cosmetic Center using today’s most advanced laser and light (IPL) technologies. Our physicians are well versed in the practice of safely and effectively reducing the visibility of spider veins on the face, cherry angiomas which are those pesky red dots on your skin and other vascular lesions. We treat pigmented lesions of the skin such as brown sun spots and freckles with the same laser as vascular lesions.

HOW DO THE TREATMENTS WORK?

Utilizing today’s advance technology of light and lasers, patients receive an exact dosage of energy that passes through the unsightly vein. The blood vessel then begins to absorb the energy, vaporizing the blood and closing the vessel. Once it is closed the vessel is absorbed through the body slowly over 6-8 weeks.
